It's a boy!

Our firstborn son came into the world on 30th January 2005 06:52 GMT+2. Big enough news for me to take two weeks of paternity leave. We stayed at the hospital for three days after the birth. The nice thing was that we got a family room which allowed me to stay (and actually sleep too) with Heli and "Akseli".

Since we got home, we've been learning to live with the baby waking up every 2-4 hours to eat. All in all everything went well, the baby and the mother are both fine. Expect to see more photos in the Moblog as the little fellow grows.

Since I took the paternity leave immediately starting from the birth, I had to leave my (virtual) desk in somewhat bad condition. So, I'll be reading the e-mail backlog for some time (I should have it cleared this week) and all the while try to fight back the looming deadlines on few projects. No devel things for me in February, right?
