Firefox 1.0 and HTMLArea

After receiving some complaints from our clients that the MidCOM's WYSIWYG editor's link editing doesn't work, I took a look with Firefox 1.0 and found some rather odd behaviour.

The symptom is that after clicking the "Insert hyperlink" button, the link pop-up goes hiding (out of focus). This can be cured by clicking on the main editor window (don't click on the actual editor though). As soon as the focus is restored, it's impossible to alter the contents of the fields, which essentially ruins the whole thing.

After some staring at the Firefox's JavaScript console, I ended up trying some alternative advanced JavaScript settings for the Firefox. And found out that one should have everything enabled in order to use the link pop-up. The browser will still lose the focus when the pop-up opens but at least it's possible to make the link.
